An Italian proposal story: custom soil inlay engagement rings

We were thrilled when Maximillian came to us with a unique request: he wanted to include soil from a California beach where they first met into his soon-to-be fiancee's engagement ring. While a bit of a challenge, it is not impossible, so we were happy to accept this romantic request. He chose a beveled tungsten ring, one in 4mm width and the other in 6mm width, to base it off of. 

They would be going on a months-long Eurotrip, something they were both ecstatic about. She was not aware that he was planning on proposing on the last leg of their adventure in Italy. While in Florence, after a day full of sightseeing through the city, they were strolling across the Ponte Alle Grazie bridge, where they paused to take in the sunset. There, he asked her to marry him, and after accepting, they both put on their matching rings for the first time, and went off to celebrate.
