In addition, we size your finger over a span of three visits in order to make sure that your ring fits like a glove.

Before your second appointment with us, familiarizing yourself with the 4Cs of diamonds can help ease your mind about picking a diamond for your engagement ring. Cut, color, clarity, and carat weight are four key factors that determine a diamond’s quality and value. Have no idea where to begin? Don’t worry! Our expert Gemologist will walk you through each and every one of the 4Cs. Not only will you learn about each 4 C in detail, but you will learn about mined diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, moissanite, and colored gemstones. Learning and understanding the 4Cs with our team will help you and your partner make informed decisions when comparing different diamonds or gemstones and choosing the one that best fits you.

Explore different ring styles and settings to determine what appeals to you most. Do you have photos of an engagement ring that you absolutely love? Show us, and we can recreate it! Or, if you have no idea what style you like, in our showroom, you can try on our prototypes to get a better idea. Take pictures and try on different styles in our laid back, pressure-free setting. You’ll also learn about the different metal types, such as white gold, platinum, rose gold, and yellow gold. You can even see, feel, and hold live variations of each metal type. 

Get The Ring Size

Even if you’re planning a surprise proposal, knowing your partner’s ring size is an important step. While you can always resize the ring later, which is covered under our Lifetime Service Plan, bringing your partner into our showroom to get the correct ring size is easier. Our Gemologist and designer will size your partner, and our sizing kit goes down to quarter sizes, which ensures the best fit possible. 

Explore Alternative Options 

While diamonds are the traditional choice for engagement rings, there are plenty of alternative options available, such as lab-grown colored gemstones. While we do offer mined diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, gemstones, and moissanite are seeing a rise in popularity. These alternatives offer unique aesthetics and are more budget-friendly than mined diamonds. However, if you choose a mined diamond or diamonds for your ring, we only source our mined diamonds from Canadian mines, which are conflict-free mines.
